Summer 2021: meet.coop is about to embark on the participatory design and prototyping of a **multistakeholder governance regime**. This handbook sets out the evolving design (together with auxiliary materials to support the design practice) and also the design of the design project: the `commons.hour` project.
We intend that this prototype will evolve into an ongoing handbook for meet.coop, and `commons.hour` will continue to be the venue for multistakeholder contributions and exchanges in the month-to-month operation of meet.coop. Part of the content of this draft handbook will be extracted, as a **constitution**, to be ratified at an initial **General Assembly** of meet.coop.
The design practice thus engages the following four main foci: - **commons.hour** - a venue for multistakeholder stewarding of the meet.coop commons - the **constitution** of meet.coop - leading to formal incorporation as a coop - an ecology of working practice - including venues, media, tools and protocols - for the operational and strategic steering of the coop, including a **General Assembly**; and - a coop **handbook**.
